A hackathon is an intensive collaborative event where teams work together to develop innovative solutions. By the end of the day, you'll have formed connections, created a prototype, and pitched your idea to a panel of experts. It's about teamwork, creativity, and making a real difference.
But this is more than a hackathon.
It’s an innovation lab, a talent accelerator, and a powerful brand-building opportunity- all in one.
WHY FEMTECH?
FemTech is technology that is created for a female target audience.
Despite representing half of the population, women are often overlooked in research and innovation. Although women make 85% of all purchase decisions, only 1% of all R&D investments go to women specifically. Yet, research has shown that product and services geared towards women have a 40-70% higher Return-on-Investment.
This hackathon is meant to hone that untapped potential. Your ideas can make the difference.

The hackathon challenges are categorised in 4 topics. On the registration for you can sign-up with your own idea or choose one of the 4 topics to receive a challenge.

Innovation in performance, wellbeing, and inclusivity. Create solutions for female athletes, from gear to training tools or eve, community platforms.

Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) are products like food, cosmetics and clothing. Reimagine shopping experiences, from inclusive sizing to personalized recommendations.

Inclusive financial tools for women. Design solutions that empower women's economic independence, from investment platforms to financial literacy tools or insurance proposal geared towards female needs & data.

Who is this for?
The hackathon is open to everyone wanting to build FemTech solutions; no matter if you’re a man, woman non-binary person, or anyone else.
We’re looking for people with a vision to build, lead an redefine the future, ready to shape solutions and dedicate themselves to putting them out in the real world.
You can register individually and we make the teams based on skills. So whether you bring the technical knowledge, business know-how or creativity, you are welcome to join.
